The present terms and conditions apply to the relationship between the guests or potential guests and Arca dos Animais – Farming & SPA, Lda, hereinafter referred to as Arca dos Animais, from the moment of the booking until the agreed exit date or subsequently, should it be justifiable. Arca dos Animais is a rural tourism, more specifically a country house, based in Caf\u00e9de, under the registration number 9798 (“RNET”). Situations not foreseen in the present terms and conditions nor in the intern regulation will be solved according to the applicable legislation in force. The guests fully accept the following terms and conditions in the act of the reservation.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The reservations will be made in person, by phone call, email, through Arca dos Animai’s website or via one of our partners. The reservations are subjected to the availability of the suites. The reservations of the suites is exclusively destined to occasional housing, for short periods of time.<\/strong> The minimum duration accepted is one night. In the moment of the reservation, the guest may opt for a down payment of 50% of the price or the total amount. In the first case, the amount missing shall be paid in the moment of the guest\u00b4s arrival. The reservation becomes effective after the down payment, registration of the guest with their data correctly stated and confirmation email with the booking details. Should any of these elements be missing and Arca dos Animais may not be able to proceed with the reservation.<\/strong> The reservations can be cancelled free of charge up until 5 days before the date of the guest\u00b4s arrival and in such case, Arca dos Animais will reimburse the total amount paid to the guest via bank transfer. If the reservation is cancelled within less than the 5 days or the guest doesn\u2019t show up without prior notice, there shall be no right to reimbursement and the total price is owed to Arca dos Animais. The guest may change its reservation dates provided that with minimum advance notice of 5 days. If the guest doesn\u2019t comply with this minimum advance notice, no amount already paid shall be reimbursed and it may not be possible to guarantee availability in the new date. All modifications to existing reservations shall be communicated via email or phone call under penalty of not being considered. By making a reservation through Arca dos Animais\u00b4 website, the guest agrees to be at least 18 years old or\u00a0to have authorization from their legal guardian to enter in an agreement with Arca dos Animais.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Guests can check-in from 3 PM to 7 PM. If the guest cannot check-in during that period of time, they should do it in advance through phone call or email.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n Guests can check-out until 12 AM and should leave their suites by that hour on their exit date. Guests can also choose extended check-out, in which case they should inform in advance to grant availability and pay an additional fee of 10% of the suite price.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The price paid by the guest in the act of the reservation is owed for the use of the suite and other services, from the moment of the check-in until the exit date. The prices are established by the administration every year. Should there be any change, the price remains the one established in the act of the reservation. The price owed will be fully charged regardless of whether the guest used or not the suite and included services. The following services are included in the price: access to SPA area, welcome drink, breakfast, access to shared kitchen, iron and ironing board, library, board games, private parking lot, farm activities. The following services are available upon payment: meals by order, drinks, laundry room and ironing services, farm and regional products, picnic basket, treatments and massages, \u201cromantic nights\u201d package, easel and painting material, printing services, transportation to the airport, visits to the region. The prices may vary during high season, national holidays and local celebrations. In every case, the guest can consult the updated prices in a timely manner. Additional fees may be charged for certain services or products. All prices are final, including VAT at the correspondent legal rate in force, unless expressly stated otherwise.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Arca dos Animais accepts the following payment methods: cash, bank transfer, debit or credit card. Other methods can only be used if accepted by the administration.<\/strong> The guests will be asked to present a copy of their credit card or leave a 100 euros security deposit as a guarantee that shall be returned during the check-out if no damages are detected.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Arca dos Animais offers a free parking lot for its guests with a spot for adapted vehicles.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Considering Decreto-Lei n.\u00ba 9\/2007 from 17 of January, it is not allowed to develop any kind of activity capable of pestering the other guests from 10 PM.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The animals from Arca dos Animais shall not be disturbed ou mistreated in any way.<\/p>\n Any damages attributable to the guest will be given notice and be properly charged. Arca dos Animais won\u2019t be responsible for any personal property that may disappear within its premises. Each guest is responsible for its belongings and should keep them in the vault if not possible to guarantee its supervision. In more severe cases, Arca dos Animais reserves the right to use the legal means available.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Considering the terms of Decreto-Lei n.\u00ba 156\/2005 from 15th of September with the alterations from Decreto-Lei n.\u00ba 371\/2007 of 6th of November, Arca dos Animais has a complaints\u00b4 book that can be consulted in the reception or through its website.
